Mr. Hernandez leads and manages the operations and strategic direction of the company. He provides valuable local market insight and manages the strategies for design, phasing, tenant mix and best use of every asset.

Senior Vice President
Don Woods has a distinguished career spanning over 40 years in the construction industry. As Senior Vice President at Hernandez, he is responsible for all of the company’s construction operations, company staff functions and infrastructure development operations. He provides leadership, establishes benchmarks, and monitors assigned projects to ensure completion in a cost-effective, on-time and professional manner.

Chief Investment Officer
Mr. D’Ascola oversees all strategic financial initiatives including asset management, deal structuring, negotiation, acquisitions and financing efforts. By creating attractive risk-adjusted returns, he maximizes every development project’s financial success.

Vice President of Finance
Thomas Burkett is a highly skilled financial professional with notable experience in accounting, sales tax auditing and financial modeling. As VP of Finance for Hernandez, Thomas will oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial
statements, annual budgets, employee expense reports, bonding, reporting, management of all project accounting functions, and tax compliance documentation. He will also ensure company compliance with financial reporting standards.


Director of Development
Mr. Cerrone is responsible for the company’s real estate ventures, acquisitions, partnerships, and developments. He works closely with all aspects of Predevelopment and due diligence execution, Design and Construction, as well as coordinating with internal financial underwriting and Development teams.

Senior Development Manager
Mr. Goss is responsible for overseeing all facets of the development cycle including planning, design, pre-construction due diligence, entitlements, regulatory approval processes and permitting.

As a Project Executive at Hernandez Construction, Mr. Curbelo improves the vision of the Project Leaders, drives greater realism on job planning, provides “aid & comfort” to Project Leaders when they need it most, and educates Project Leaders on critical and strategic decision making when challenges arise.

As Senior Development Manager, Mr. Schecter provides full oversight of the project from feasibility to delivery. He is responsible for governmental entitlements and execution of all aspects of the commercial development process through to construction.

Contracts Manager
Kendle Williams is a lifelong enthusiast of property development and land law. A graduate of the London School of Economics and a lawyer by trade, he has devoted much of his creative and legal talents to negotiating the written word and drafting construction contracts.

Development Analyst
As a Development Analyst at Hernandez, Rex Guzman is an integral member of the team, primarily responsible for real estate analysis, creating pro forma projections, generating return analyses, and conducting market research for development and acquisitions.


Senior Preconstruction Manager
Rene Garcia is responsible for leading and coordinating preconstruction and estimating efforts. As such, Garcia prepares cost estimates from conception through final contract, working with and coordinating the project team including the Owner/Client, all design professionals, subcontractors, and the Project Manager. In addition, he provides value-adding solutions that take schedule, maintenance, and life-cycle cost into consideration.
